What types of auction do they run?

Butters John Bee run traditional property auctions which take place every four to six weeks at The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Festival Park.  

With traditional auctions, a 10% deposit is paid and contracts are exchanged immediately, with completion normally 20 working days later.

What happens on auction day?

You will be able to attend the event in person or watch the live stream from the comfort of your home.

Pre-registered bidders can either attend the auction event, or place bids remotely online, by phone or proxy.    

If the property reaches the agreed reserve price, then the lot will be sold with an immediate exchange of contracts.  The buyer will have to immediately pay a deposit of 10% of the purchase price, subject to a minimum of £1,000.

What happens if your property doesn't sell at auction?

If the property fails to sell at auction, your contract will automatically extend for an additional 4 weeks.  During this time, Butters John Bee will try and tie up a post-auction sale for you.

You can also enter the lot into the next available auction at no additional cost.

Butters John Bee will retain sole selling rights until the agreement is terminated.

Your property will also be included in the auction catalogue that will be sent to their mailing list of over 10,000 buyers and will be listed on the website with a detailed floor plan and high-quality photographs taken by the trained auction team.

The Butters John Bee auction team are professionally trained as photographers.  A member of the team will visit the property to take photographs, measurement, a video tour and detailed floor plan.
