What will we discuss during the consultation?

On the first part of the call I want to understand your priorities, more about your property, and about the timeframes you’re trying to sell within. 

Then I’ll walk you through the main options for your situation, explaining the pros and cons of each. And I’ll give you a clear recommendation for what I’d do next in your shoes. 

If I can, I’ll also share contacts, companies, or free resources I’ve put together to help you execute the plan from there.

Is this just a sales call?

No. The point of the consultation is to help you figure out the smartest plan for YOUR situation — based on your property, priorities, timeframe, and what’s most important to you.

Sometimes, once we’ve got clear on that plan, we may be able to suggest a company, contact, or service that could help with the next steps. 

If you decide you want to use them, we may earn money from that recommendation.

But the plan always starts with: “What actually makes the most sense for you?”. Not  “What makes us money”

I spend a lot of time talking people out of options that would make us money — which is why so many of our reviews mention things like:

  • “No hard sell”
  • “No pressure”
  • “Genuine advice”
  • “Actually listened”
  • “Talked us out of the wrong option”, etc

A lot of people come away surprised/confused at how much help we gave them for free, and without selling anything.

So overall, the goal of the call is not to twist your arm into something that doesn’t make sense. It’s to help you make a smart, informed decision about your sale — and (if possible), suggest how to take the next steps from there.

How is this free? What’s the catch?

There is no “catch”. 

The starting point for every call is simply: “What is the right option for this individual seller?”

We are a business though — and we do have ways of paying bills and making a profit. 

We make money in two ways — and we’ll only ever recommend one if we genuinely think it’s the best fit for you: 

  1. Trusted Companies.
    Once we’ve helped you formulate a plan, in some situations we’ll know a company, contact, or service that could genuinely help you with the next steps.

    If you decide to use them, they may pay us a referral fee for introducing you.

    Supporting our business this way means we get to give unbiased advice, for free, with no catch — while still paying the bills and making a profit.

    And it means we help you find the best companies to work with…

    And we help the best companies get more customers.
  2. Hands-on service
    For other sellers, we also have our own service we will sometimes recommend.

    It helps certain homeowners sell faster than they would through an estate agent — but for more money than they’d get from a house-buying company.

    Our approach isn’t a fit for every seller or property, so we’ll only present this if we think it’s genuinely the best fit for your goals and situation. 

We won’t always suggest one of these (I spend a lot of time talking people out of things that’d make us money.)

So yes — this is absolutely free. And there is no catch. Just a clear plan, that makes sense for you. And potentially more ongoing support afterwards if we can offer it, and if you want it.

I’ve been helping home owners sell faster for over 15 years:

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. Just have any questions or important details about your home ready. We want to understand your needs and situation fully. 

If your home has already been on the market, it’ll be useful to understand rough viewing numbers and any offers you’ve had. 

Have a think through timeframes you realistically need to sell in — and what kind of price you’d be happy to accept in order to make it happen. 

This will help us assess your options more easily, and you’ll end up with a clearer plan more quickly.
